I am from Chico, Ca and graduated from Carroll College in the spring of 2018 with a B.A. in chemistry and a minor in gender studies. My research focuses on understanding the differences between Zr and Hf metal oxo cluster species in solution and the solid-state and what drives their formation. I am interested in making new cluster toplogies and their potential uses as framework materials. My other research interests include understanding the nucleation pathway of metal-organic frameworks by looking for reaction intermediates in solution and the solid-state. In my free time I enjoy seeing live music, cooking, and taking workout classes with friends.
