Shohel, Mohammad

I was born and grew up in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I earned my B.S. in Chemistry from University of Dhaka in 2014. After that I finished M.S.(Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry) from University of Dhaka in 2016. I earned my PhD in 2021 from the University of Iowa under the supervison of Professor Tori Forbes. In the Nyman Lab, I am a post doc and I work collaborativey under the umbrella of the Actinide Center of Excellence(ACE). My research work involved synthesis and characterization of Technetium (Tc), Thorium (Th), and Uranium (U) containing metal-oxo cluster compounds. In my free time, I like to hike, work-out, drink, dine out, cook, and watch movies!
